Array SPX Series SSL VPN Access Gateways
Array Networks SSL VPN Access Gateways enable anytime, anywhere secure access for employees, customers and strategic partners to business-critical resources — increasing corporate productivity and lowering IT overhead.
Purpose -built for high-performance access control and security, SPX Series systems deliver the headroom to extend access to remote and local users while maintaining both maximum security and instantaneous application response times.
Anytime Anywhere Access
Array Networks SPX Series systems are the gold standard for SSL VPNs, delivering powerful yet intuitive secure access to meet the needs of any size organization. Using SSL, the security protocol present in all Web browsers, the SPX Series enables clientless secure access from any location internal or external – LAN, WLAN, wireless hotspots, kiosks, corporate and employee-owned laptops, even mobiles and PDAs – to any information source, including email, file shares, applications, and other core business systems.
The Performance Leader
Typically, layers of protection add to security at the expense of application performance; and no matter how sophisticated a VPN is, it won’t enhance productivity unless end users find it quick and easy. To this end, Array’s high capacity platforms, proprietary SpeedStack™ packet processing technology, and integrated application acceleration sustain single-digit millisecond latency for up to tens of thousands of concurrent users, regardless of security level or complexity of configuration. With the purpose-built Array SPX, the compromise between security and performance is eliminated once and for all.
Maximum Security & Control
The SPX Series features unparalleled safeguards for protecting business critical information. With Array's end point security, uploads, downloads, and access to data are tightly controlled based on the administrator's comfort for a given device or access environment. What’s more, an integrated firewall, reverse proxy architecture, and security hardened operating system ensure resources are as safe as they are secure. Strong authentication and authorization provide dynamic, controlled access for URLs, files, and applications based on user identity and role within the organization, while comprehensive auditing tracks all activity on a per user, per event, and per resource level. Additionally, the SPX application manager supports multiple access methods for Web, client/server, and native applications, making specific resources available as appropriate to maintain maximum security and control.
Evolving to Universal Access
With support for up to 64,000 concurrent users on a single system, the Array SPX Series is uniquely capable of serving as a universal access gateway for both temporary and established connections, inside or outside the corporate perimeter, fixed or wireless. Moreover, support for up to 256 fully secure virtual portals, again on a single system, enables instant DMZs and tailored, intuitive interfaces that meet the specific needs of each and every employee, business unit, customer, and partner. Evolving to universal access, security and access control are assured for all users, while TCO is greatly reduced through rock bottom cost-per-user and dramatic improvements in management efficiency.
Effortless Management
The Array SPX offers both a CLI and a Web user interface that can easily be customized to create an intuitive management system. Monitoring the Array SPX is simple with SNMP-based monitoring tools such as HP OpenView, and with support for XML-RPC, a wide range of third-party applications can be used to automate management tasks.
